Hi, I’m Salvatore! Let me tell you about how I became a wedding photographer.

While I always admired the beauty of nature, color, and form; I first considered a career in photography and design working as a Layout Editor for Boston College’s independent newspaper. Despite my coursework in science, I found a greater passion designing compelling layouts and photographing events on campus, and I graduated not only with a BS in biochemistry but also with two Pacemaker Awards for Newspaper Design. After college, I had the opportunity to work under photography legends Steve McCurry and Mark Seliger, honing my technique as well as becoming a skilled printer and retoucher. Ambitious yet a romantic at heart, I met my future wife and muse, Betty, who ignited in me a greater passion for documenting love stories. Becoming a wedding photographer was a perfect fit. In fact, I could not resist taking some pictures of my wife on our wedding day, alongside the hired photographer. That’s how much I love my wife, and my work. High-energy and always up for photographing a romance, I jump at capturing those magical, fleeting moments between a bride and groom (after all, I do know a thing or two about chemistry)!  All of the precious memories of your wedding day will be preserved beautifully from start to finish: from tears of happiness; to the rings, flowers, and kisses; to fun moments on the dance floor. Ranging from professional and elegant portraiture to candid moments in a more journalistic style, you’ll get a bit of everything!  Whether you like black and white or bright colors, I’ll work with you to personalize your photos to your satisfaction.

Just reach out — I’m looking forward hearing from you!
